The most awaited art exhibition by the students held on 16th and 17th December 2016, organised by MCE Society’s Indian Society for Art & Animation – ISAA.
It was a two day art and animation exhibition in which students of different art & animation has shown their creativity and amazing output after a long preparation. Students from different categories of digital art as well as fine arts has participated like, Sketching, photography, graphic designing, Motion Graphic competition, Short Film, etc.
The theme of this year’s exhibition is based on the three seasons i.e. Summer, Rainy & Winter. Participants has exhibited their work in the background of the theme. On day one i.e. 16-December-2016, the exhibition has been inaugurated by Shri P.A. Inamdar, President – M.C.E. Society and Smt. Jyoti Sharma, President Loving Lap Group in the presence of Prof. Rishi Aacharya, President, Indian Society for Art & Animation and other eminent personalities of the city.
On the second day i.e. 17-December-2016 with the exhibition, a culture program & prize distribution ceremony was also organised by M.C.E. Society’s P A Inamdar College of Visual Effects Design and Art, where students performed different cultural activities like dance, stage show etc. that was attended by Shri Latif Magdum, Secretary M.C.E. Society, as chief guest, Shri Praveen Kumar Anand, president Anandvan Mitra Mandal as Guest of Honour with Prof. Rishi Aacharya, President Indian Society for Art & Animation.
Students of P A Inamdar College of Visual Effects Design & Art got most of the awards as Mitali Dande, won Motion Graphic competition, Omkar Deokate got selected as winner for Poster Designing competition. Pavan kumar was selected as winner in Photography category, Tejas Govilkar got award in UI & UX Design category.
A special dance performance was also done by SD dance academy, Mr. Salim Sarfani, the director of the dance academy has also performed as well as he has choreographed the dance acts of P A Inamdar College of Visual Effects Design and Art’s students.
P A Inamdar Lady Teharunnisa Marathy Medium School, Wadagaonsheri also has a dance performance, and got the award in the special category.
The committee has also awarded for the Best Student Work category for each year of their animation degree course, where Nihar Thaliachery awarded for the 1st year, Rajkumar Sawant who is studying in the second year took the award and the final year student Aditi Deepankar got the award for the category.
“Indian Society for Art & Animation practices to give exposure to the upcoming artists & Kalotsav is one of them where these novices of the art and animation field get a chance to get interaction with the gurus or professionals of the art world. The aspiration which they get will definitely boost their up-coming career”, as said by Prof. Rishi Aacharya, President Indian Society for Art & Animation.
